January 1st, 1800 - Ministry of Propaganda
A fresh start to a new year of prosperity for the Helghan Empire, we have toiled to long in the stoops of depravity and despair. It is time for us the proud sons and daughters of Helghan to rise from the dirt of our forefathers and grab our destiny by the horns.
Yes indeed it is time for us, the Might of Helghan to take our rightful place at the summit of the world! And this year looks to be a very promising year for our nation, something is brewing and we will be there to see it boil over!
January 10th, 1800 - Ministry of Propaganda
The Emperor passed a new legislate to help improve the living conditions of the middle class, this is an unprecedented act for the new leader of Helghan. Leaders of Helghan usually begin their reign with iron and led to keep the masses in quiet suspension, but as it seems our glorious new leader is one for the people.
In other news the Emperor has issued a statement during the press release today, "There is trouble brewing, I can sense it. As I know all of you can sense it, hard times are coming and it is the Heghast way to endure such trials and through our suffering we will gain more power than we could have ever dreamed!!! So i ask you, the proud Helghan people to please lend me your strength and together we shal weather this storm and emerge greater than any other in the world!"
A bold statement for one who has just taken control of our proud nation.
January 14th, 1800
A riot broke out in the streets in front of the palace today as the relief to the middle class has been slowed, Riot Police lined in front of the palace to keep the mob at bay. As the riot got heated into a frenzy a booming voice rings out across the plaza. "What in Helghan's name are you doing!?", all eyes look towards the plaza at the figure standing in front of the Riot Squad line.
It is the Emperor himself! He steps boldly forward towards the mob, and shouts "Do you think this is going to help!? How in the Emperors name will wrecking thousands of dollars in property damage and lives harmed in this frenzy will help your situation!?". An unidentifiable voice shouts from the mass of bodies "What about our situation! huh?". The Emperor looks cooly towards the crowd "the relief is on its way, it just got stuck in the cogs of the system. A PROBLEM I WAS TRYING TO FIX WHEN A MOB SHOWS UP AT MY PALACE DOORS!!!"
The crowd just looks at their leader in shock, he continues "money does not just pop up from the ground and into your pockets! it takes time to carefully work the money through the system without causing damage to it. If i just throw money at you where does it come from? huh! you want me to just swipe the elderly's retirement from them? Just leave them to starve on the streets?! No! i take little money from everything as to not upset the machine and cause a breakdown." he stops and looks at the mob and points at them "I want you all to go home now to your families and wait for my actions to become visible to you". With that last sentence done the Emperor goes back into his palace.
