The New Journey Begins

"Orders are orders" Galven looks at the building, testing his flamers and looks back at sledge and nods. Galven signals the men to move forward while he begins to march forward. 

He whispers a silent prayer to himself and the rest of his troops "let the goddess keep us safe with her holy flame" he moves closer to the building moving a bit quicker, as he approached the building his fingers are trembling on the trigger. "Let the goddess spread her love through me" he closes his eyes waiting for the sound of the grenade

Sledge saw the men approach the building.  As they inched closer and closer, he anticipated throwing the grenade.  Once they were in a good enough distance from the building, he threw the grenade.  It was only a matter of seconds before it rammed against the side of the building and exploded.

Gerrik's opened his eyes as the thud of the explosion could be felt through the mech but the noise was dulled due to the cockpit being closed, he starts the system set up so he can start the mech immediately when needed. Even though the mech was covered by thick sheet much like all of the other machinery in the old warehouse, he was a paranoid that they would be able to see the light from his control panel through it but it was a passing fear.

He moved his cigar with his jaw from one side to another, anxiously awaiting the inevitable confrontation.

As the others advanced to make their move,  Navis and her group quietly made their way to the back of the warehouse, located at the opposite of where Sledge and his men were planning to infiltrate.  Navis made a hand motion, signaling the others to cover the narrow back-door, while she stationed herself a little to the left of them away from the entrance.

"Wait for it, men.  On my signal, you both will storm the room.  Expect resistance."  Billy Robinson nodded back

"Aye sir, but, umm...  Why are you standing way down yonder?"  

The sound of a small explosion filled her ears, and she made the signal to infiltrate.  The two marines, despite appearing to be untrained bafoons, responded surprisingly efficiently and instantly stormed the room, gauss rifles pointed outward and ready to engage whatever target they may find.

As the marines enter the back of the Warehouse they walk through a laser that is triggered once the transmission is interrupted, this causes the electrical locks holding a oil drum. The oil drum then falls over and dumps its contents upon the marines, as they slip and slide in their blind state they trip over some boards and knock lose a precariously perched lose wire with a stable current.

The shock isn't much but enough to disorient them, the electricity also causes a carefully place EMP grenade setting it off. The pulse only knocks out basic functions and most weaponry, this includes the Air Respirators in the combat suits.

This causes the marines to frantically open the visors for air, this lets their pained yelps audible throughout the warehouse. Gerrik nods in praise of his work.
